WHO DENNY Preamble IN THIS TIME of perpetual despair and cynicism, with zero confidence in a Cincinnati Bengals organization that has provided decades of entertainment, the fan base is crying out for a hero. An individual with enough optimism, spirit, and backbone to lead Bengals supporters out of the darkness. That person is Denny. Introduction WE, the members of the Who Denny Revolution, in our unyielding quest to transform the whiners, doubters, and critics of the Cincinnati Bengals into dedicated fans, call for a popular revolution of supporters to demand a little faith and confidence in a team that has brought so many individuals from around the globe together. Manifesto Demands THAT the whiners, cynics, faithless, and/or angry Bengals fans pledge, "I will do everything in my power to help further Denny's (The Great) quest to promote unity and optimism among the Bengals fan base"; THAT all individuals recognize Denny's endless wisdom and strong emotional commitment. This includes recognizing his status as "World's most confident man" and two time winner of MTV's "Sexiest Smile" Award; THAT any individual who greets another Bengals fan must do so with a smile and a roaring "Who Dey?!" chant; THAT anyone unwilling to accept that gospel of Denny must be greeted with a friendly smile and a mocking eye roll. Special thanks to Denn-izen Eleden for submitting the manifesto

August 23, 2009 Pledge of Allegiance
I Pledge Allegiance Posted by eoxyod on August 23, 2009 at 9:17 p.m. in Allegiance, Denny, youth movement August 22, 2009 "Hob" Woodward Exposes Cutdown Strategy Following the Bengals' 7-6 victory of New England and in advance on the most meaningful of the preseason contests, Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson - a.k.a. "Hob" Woodward - broke down his assessment of what could be expected as the roster gets narrowed down to 53.... If there is one thing that stands out from the 7-6 win over the Patriots besides Horst Ochocinco's kicking heroics, it is the pass rush the Bengals slapped on Patriots icon Tom Brady. Left end Robert Geathers not only pummeled him with a sack that forced Brady's surgically-repaired left knee to take a shot, but WILL linebacker Keith Rivers had a free hit on Brady on a blitz and like a nice guy he just flung him to the ground. They say that nice guys finish last, but the pressure these guys are going to get on opposing quarterbacks this season will prove that a fallacy. But no one has covered him at any point in practice or in games. He certainly can't be covered one-on-one. Henry has looked for all the world like the guy that caught 15 touchdowns passes in 2005 and 2006. The classic case of "don't believe everything you hear". While the coaches have been hard on Chris, they're demanding the best out of him and he has delivered frequently. Chad Ochocinco gets so much heat for being a Me Guy, let's hope he gets some credit for his extra-point kick and his kickoff. Yeah, you can say he just wanted to do it to get more attention. But there are also a lot of stars who have had some issues with management (i.e. contract) that would have seen the team in trouble like the Bengals were Thursday night with their kicker and told them, "Child, Please." "Hob" Woodward puts a few brushstrokes to the new image of Ochocinco that many have painted since he delved gold-teeth-deep into Twitter and Ustream and the debut of "Hard Knocks". 85 is alive (and well) in Cincy. Cornerback Johnathan Joseph, the man called J-Joe, has been bigger than G.I. Joe this summer. He's had his best all-around camp, rediscovering his cover skills and impressing the coaches with a much more aggressive approach to tackling and doling out hits. Jonathan Joseph - Real American Hero! You could make an argument that Rivers has been Cincinnati's best defensive player and there are no arguments that rookie SAM linebacker Rey Maualuga is going to be a factor sooner rather than later as the pair from USC continue to impress during the preseason. Nothing wrong with promoting the pedigree. These USC players will not fear the big game spotlight this team will be playing under sooner rather than later. It may be training camp for the players and coaches, but "Hob" Woodward is in midseason form proving us with valuable insight on the makings of the team's resurrection this year. There's little doubt that the Who Denny Revolution message reached millions of people via these float-overs. Don't believe me, though; just take a look at the following pictures representing just a fraction of those whose attention was captivated by the presence of the balloon.... Needless to say, getting the Who Denny Revolution message through this medium was a success of almost excessive awesomeness. That's not to say it was met with glee by all. There were numerous accounts of a plane towing a variety of banners attempting desperately to bring us down, but we were and remain undeterred in our message. Don't Worry! Be Denny! In preparation of the Bengals season ahead (and relaxing from putting together this site), I started my vacation on Sunday with a trek to the Twin Cities. We reach our hotel early that evening and are given the following room:
Well, that room number sparks an interesting reaction from me. I know it's a special number, but after a whirlwind week of wrapping up my work schedule in anticipation of this vacation, participating in a state softball tournament and leaving almost immediately thereafter for Minneapolis, I'm not quite putting it together. Then it hits me....the 2005 season. A smile comes to my face. Those were good times, indeed. However, that wasn't enough. In the spirit of this very web site, I felt compelled to ask myself, "what would Denny do?" Needless to say, I suddenly felt encouraged that this was an omen of great things to come for this Bengals team in 2009. What would Denny do? What else, but think awesome thoughts? DENNYG2 Bengals.com is the only source for me! The rest take a back seat! These are my positive Bengal buddies, I am nothing more than a represenative of that. We are Bengals Nation positive version 2.0 Chase has all the tools to be a great TE for the Bengals for many, many years! I believe in you Meg It is easy to say a player is soft after sustaining two very bad injuries, where were you before this happened claiming he was soft? Best post of the week! Come on Joe, it is alot deeper than that and I know you know that. It isn't the initial idea rather the pathetic way they have handled it. Outstanding!
Aren't you a little disappointed though, how TJ has turned into the complete cry baby he has become? I sure am... One player does NOT make a team my young comrade Just keeping it real my brother!
